There’s nothing like the smell of a brand-new blog!

After several years of blogging, I have decided to specialize. I am still keeping the old “personal” blog, but in this one, I shall concentrate on writing about information technology and its application in medicine. There are a lot of ideas being thrown about, like the adaptation of the “creative commons” model in medical research (open research) and the use of so-called Web 2.0 applications by doctors and patients. I still don’t know how I really feel about the buzzword “Medicine 2.0.” My opinion of it shall be shaped in the course of doing this blog.
